Stoic practice · 2–4 min

Indifference to Reputation

Release the demand to govern another person’s opinion.

Use when: social anxiety, status, comparison, legacy worry

How the practice works

  1. Name the situation Whose opinion is gripping you?
  2. Record what you notice Their opinion, its audience, and you are all transient. What conduct still matters in this moment?
  3. Choose the next action What will you do well without controlling how it is received?
